Read one of four books and take a test on it. Tests are comprised of multiple choice questions to judge reading comprehension and analytical abilities.
Format

Registration Guidelines
Section titled “Registration Guidelines”- No more than four (4) students from each team may register for each test.
- Each student may pick only one test to compete in.
- Example: 4 students may register for Test 1, 4 other students for Test 2, etc.
Procedure
Section titled “Procedure”-
Competitors have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete their test.

Competitors must achieve a score of 65% or above in order to rank/win a medal.

Test contains ONLY multiple choice and multiple-multiple choice questions (select all that apply).
- Questions will have an analytical/thinking focus.
- Each test has an essay tie-breaker bonus question worth 10 points.

Tests are open-book and must be taken individually.
- Electronic devices NOT permitted during competition.
- Electronic versions of books NOT permitted.

Annotations NOT permitted within the book:
- No highlighting
- No underlining
- No post-its
- No writing in margins
- All books will be checked before exam starts

Students must have their own book - sharing NOT allowed once testing begins.

Printouts/photocopies of the book are permitted but must be free of any notes.

All questions based on material covered in the assigned book.

No ballot for this competition - scores based solely on test performance.
